Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Warfield spent over twenty years in Television Broadcasting, prior to entering the financial services industry. He served as Vice-President of News and Vice President and Station Manager for WDIV-TV in Detroit. Mr. Warfield also has over thirty years of professional management experience. Mr. Warfield is active within his community and has served as a member of several Boards of Directors including: the American Red Cross, Marygrove College and Henry Ford Community College. He is the former Chairman of the Greater Detroit Capital Corporation and a recipient of the Booker T. Washington Businessman of the Year Award.
In his role at the Bing Youth Institute he is responsible for the day to day operations and strategic planning for the Institute.
As a social entrepreneur, Aaron is fueled by living in his purpose and serving others. He is the founder of Passion MGMT, a production studio and management company based in Detroit. Usually from behind the scenes, Aaron offers logistical and organizational expertise needed to make big ideas come to life as a producer in film and special events.
Aaron’s creative background allows him to bring an innovative approach to mentoring. In his role with the Bing Youth Institute, Aaron leads a team that designs and executes an impactful program for young men who have similar and relatable experiences to him growing up in the city.
Director of Training and Operations
Alice Patterson is a compassionate and caring advocate for young people. Alice holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Education and a Doctor’s Degree from United Theological Seminary. In addition to her ministerial duties, Alice created a youth afterschool program known as, “Destination Success”, designed for middle school students.
In her role with the Bing Youth Institute, Alice’s duties include processing mentor applications, overseeing local, state, and federal background checks, and conducting mentor training sessions.
Crystal Reedus holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Michigan State University and is formerly a teacher in the Detroit Public School System. Crystal has some ten years of experience in the youth mentoring field.
At the Bing Youth Institute, Crystal’s primary responsibility is communicating daily with school personnel, mentees, mentors, and parents to ensure active participation and coordination of program's mentoring program and services.
On-Site Program Facilitator
Everett is a native Detroiter who has traveled nationally in pursuit of his passion for style. Everett is
a renowned personal stylist with an illustrious clientele of professional athletes, businessmen and politicians. Everett brings a sense of energy and excitement to personal care and loves to share his passion to help others through styling and etiquette tips.
In his role at the Bing Youth Institute, Everett interacts daily with mentees and mentors ensuring that the mentoring sessions take place and are working effectively.
